Came here with a reservation for four people and we were seated immediately. You can order a la cart or order by pot. We decided on the pots to share family style. Each pot come with potatoes and corn. We ordered snow crab legs, ez peel shrimp and mussels. Then we chose the sauce: oh dang which is their classic sauce- this tastes tangy, spicy and garlicky. The dragon fire sauce - tasted sweet, salty and umami. The Thai coconut basil - tasty creamy, sweet, and lemongrass... this is hands down my favorite sauce. I loved the way the corn soaked up this Thai coconut sauce!

Service was above and beyond, especially for my friend's birthday. The staff were soo nice and accommodating, always checking on us. We got a bunch of appetizers/sides to share like fries, spinach and crab dip, brussel sprouts, and garlic noodles. I loved pretty much every dish, particularly the crab dip. The wonton chips were perfect. I also really liked the apple cider drink and pretty pink bowl. I have never had such a fun flavorful drink like that. I definitely want to come back, especially for nice occasions. The place was so well decorated for the holidays and it just felt very upscale and fancy.

I really like the new Chasin Tails. I've been coming here for years and I admittedly stopped coming when restaurants opened during COVID because the food wasn't as great; the seafood boils seemed to be overcooked and came to the table a lot quicker than before COVID. I've been here for brunch and dinner at the new location (with the new menu) and the seafood boil was everything I wanted it to be. I do miss what seemed to be the Cajun theme of the old menu and location, but the seafood boil option is still on the menu.

We went with a large group and everyone enjoyed the food. We had three buckets of seafood, Mac&cheese, fries and beer. Too much food, but the leftovers were just as good. Service was good as well. Definitely will return.

This food was DELICIOUS. The snow crabs were meaty and the shrimp was juicy. Definitely get the Oh Dang sauce (garlic, citrus, and cajun). I loved the cast iron pots that the seafood boil came in, very classy touch. I thought people were overhyping the garlic noodles but I tried them and I couldn't believe how good they were - absolutely incredible. The oysters were yummy too! We had a great waiter as well. Would definitely come back.

I love Chasin Tails. I've been going here for seafood since they were at their old location in Arlington. The seafood is always fresh and the butters can't be beat. Oh dang, is my favorite sauce and as a garlic lover, I love the garlic noodles that come with most of the boil combos. The portion sizes are massive, honestly I have, in the past eaten the side of garlic noodles for my meal in the restaurant and taken the boil home. I will come get the seafood boil to go take back across town and eat at home as well. The service is always great! When they first moved to the Falls Church location, my friend and I went to try it. They were trying this new thing where they serve the boils on a plate (likely to match the slightly more upscale vibe that the new location brought). When the manager came to check in with us, we gave them the feedback that plating the boil, made it get cold, faster, and less enjoyable. She mentioned that they had been getting that feedback, and when we came back the next time some months later, they had found a solution (serving the boils in Dutch ovens). They listen to their customers, and the service just keeps getting better and better. My friend and I recently went there for her birthday this year and they had such nice birthday touches. I was honestly so impressed. We had a really nice time dining at the bar, our bartender was personable and knowledgeable. He helped us pick out drinks that we loved, the food was good as always, and they even left her with a happy birthday card that had a gift card to come back again! Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back again as we have been already.

We came for happy hour and stayed for dinner. HH drinks were sooo good! We especially liked the old fashioned, passion mule, naked & Smokey and they even made my margarita spicy! From the HH menu, we liked the raw hamachi crudo and the fried shrimp. The Brussels sprouts were too salty due to the oyster sauce and soy sauce combination. The calamari was a little bit chewy. Moving on to the main event, we loved the seafood pot with oh dang sauce. We got a pound of king crab legs (3 large legs), 2 pounds of shrimp and a pound of crawfish. Wow! The seafood was soooo fresh! Service was attentive and this was an overall great experience!

Chasin Tails Review: We recently visited Chasin Tails to celebrate my new job, and the experience was truly memorable! Booking through Yelp was a breeze, and the restaurant even provided a parking garage code so we didn't have to pay--such a thoughtful touch. Upon arrival, we were seated promptly and eagerly browsed the menu. Everything sounded so good, we wanted to order it all! We started with calamari, which was perfectly breaded and cooked--crispy and delicious. The highlight, though, was when my husband asked for chopsticks to eat the calamari. Our server went above and beyond by actually going next door to the Vietnamese restaurant to grab a set. My husband was so grateful for the extra effort! For the main event, we had a giant pot of garlic butter Alaskan crab and shrimp, paired with umami-packed Brussels sprouts. The Alaskan crab legs were the best I've had in ages--soft, sweet, and easy to crack open with chunks of crab coming out perfectly. The buttery, garlicky sauce coated everything beautifully. The shrimp were also cooked to perfection. While the Brussels sprouts were slightly overdone, they were still delicious. I also enjoyed a non-alcoholic Passionfruit ginger beer, which was crafted with care and tasted fantastic (and was free when you check in through Yelp). The service was excellent, more than deserving of the 20% automatic service fee, and we even added an extra 5% because our server went the extra mile with the chopsticks. If I had to change one thing, it would be the noise level. The restaurant's high ceilings and industrial decor make the room quite loud, with even the sound of chairs moving echoing throughout. Overall, Chasin Tails gave us a wonderful night of delicious seafood and outstanding service--highly recommended!
